Howdy, I'm Danny Wragg
A thirty one year old web developer based in Darlington. I love creating innovative, simple and clean web applications that provide real value to the end user and delivering this within a set timescale which meets the client’s requirements.
I enjoy learning and trying to stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies and I'm always looking for new ways to improve my skill set.
When I'm not coding, you will usually find me in the gym or enjoying a coffee whilst building some Star Wars lego sets. I enjoy watching sports, attending gigs and visiting America.

Web Development
I am proficient in multiple programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and more. I understand web performance optimization, web accessibility, and I'm familiar with web development tools and technologies.
Database Design
I bring strong skills in database design, I have a solid understanding of relational database concepts and SQL syntax, and have experience with popular database management system - MySQL.
I can design efficient databases and optimize queries, and I'm familiar with database migration tools and techniques.
Task Managing
As a software developer, I understand the importance of effective task management. I have experience using project management tools and track progress on development tasks. I can break down complex tasks into smaller, manageable units of work.
I'm experienced with working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
Reporting
Another valuable skill I bring to the table is my ability to analyze data and generate meaningful reports, previously this was to help stakeholders make informed decisions. I am are familiar with Microsoft Excel, and understand statistical analysis and trends.
I have experience presenting findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
Customer Service
As a software developer, I understand the importance of excellent customer service. I have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to empathize with customers and understand their needs.
I have experience using customer service tools such as HelpScout, Microsoft office and Slack to manage support requests, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely and effective solutions to customer.
Remote Working
I have experience working remotely, I have strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
I am familiar with remote work tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams, and have experience working in a distributed team environment and communicating effectively across time zones (when I've been in America).
I try my hardest to maintain a positive attitude and adapt to changes in a remote work setting.

Carmel Sixth Form College | 2007 - 2009
After completing my secondary education at Carmel I stayed on in there Sixth Form college to pursue my A-Levels. During my time at college, I continued to demonstrate strong academic performance and a deep passion for learning.
I took a small selection of courses to maintain my focus on, including IT and Business Studies. I actively engaged with my teachers and classmates to enhance my understanding of the subject matter and help to provided me with practical experience and helped me develop a well-rounded skill set.
Overall, my education history has been characterized by a strong commitment to academic excellence and a passion for lifelong learning. I believe that the skills and knowledge I have acquired throughout my education will serve me well in all of my future endeavours.

During my secondary school years, I attended Carmel School where I pursued my GCSEs. Throughout my time there, I took a range of subjects, including Maths, English, Science, and IT, and maintained a consistent level of academic excellence.

Being the regional manager for MyCigara meant that I looked after all of the stores within the northern region of the UK, this also included Scotland. My Journey started as a sales assistant in Darlington working my way up the ladder being promoted to Store manager and then finally Regional Manager.
